2023 CIMA Annual Conference

Join us in person or virtually for the 2023 Conference of Intermountain Archivists annual meeting May 10-13, 2023 in Logan, Utah. It's a notable year for a couple of reasons. First, we are returning to a traditional four-day conference with a full schedule including pre-conference workshop, presentation sessions, keynote, reception, breakout sessions, business meeting/awards luncheon, dine-arounds, and tours for the first time since 2019. Additionally, we are celebrating our organization’s 50th anniversary, which is reflected in our conference theme: “CIMA at 50: Remembering the Past, Embracing the Future.” We look forward to seeing you there!

“Together Again”: Reconnecting with Our Archival Communities

We are so excited to welcome you to Salt Lake City on May 12-13, 2022! Our hybrid model will allow registrants to enjoy the best of both digital and in-person conference attendance. The in-person event will be held at the brand new Pioneer Center at This is the Place Heritage Park; sessions will be live-streamed and made available for later viewing. The other half of our sessions will be pre-recorded and available online. All conference content will be available exclusively to registered attendees for the next year. After one year, conference content will be available to all CIMA members.

In-person attendance includes two lunches and a reception at Ottinger Hall at no additional cost. We are excited to also offer discounted tickets to This is the Place Heritage Park on Thursday, May 12, and guided tours at Fort Douglas and the University of Utah Special Collections on Friday, May 13.
